Nathan was born with the name of
Nathaniel Charles Irvine on January 10, 2006. Contrary to the
last name his mother gave him at birth, "Frew," he will never be known
in the Irvine family as "Frew." So Nathan Irvine, will forever
be an IRVINE !!
A note to Nathan: (7 April 2006)
Son, you will not understand this until far later in life, but
your mother and I did not get along in life, love or in marriage.
We separated soon after finding out that you were coming into this world.
We separated July 7, 2005, at which time your mother abandoned our home
in Biloxi, MS to seek a different life in Atlanta, GA away from the
military. She never accepted the military life that I was providing
as an active duty enlisted Air Force member of 15+ years. You
will learn later in life that the military is an honorable way of life;
one where you are able to serve your country and defend freedom for
the United States.
You came
into this world on January 10, 2006 at Northside Hospital in Atlanta,
GA. You were born at 5:04 pm, 7 lbs. 1 oz. and 20-3/4 inches.
A beautiful baby boy! Although I have not been allowed to meet
you, (as of 7 April 2006), you are loved deeply by me, your Grand parents;
Gran & Pop, your Aunt Kate, Uncle Sam & Aunt Sarah and your cousins.
We will soon be allowed to meet you and shower you with love.
I count the seconds until that day.
Son, I was not allowed to see you at birth, in fact, I've
also been prevented from meeting you, holding you, or even giving you
a kiss. Learn early to stand up for yourself and not be railroaded
into submission. Stand up for your beliefs, no matter how someone
else will take them; they are your beliefs and all others should respect
that at all times. You lose when cannot be your own person and
when people try to take that away from you. You will have a strong
back bone given to you proudly from the Irvine side of your family.
I have only been able to see pictures of you from birth ... you
are a beautiful boy! You are MY boy! I love you with all
of my heart.
I love you,
Your Father, your Dad.

Dear Son,
It will certainly not be long now before I can hold you in my arms.
Today, was a momentous day! I feel that all will soon be well
in life and love. I cannot wait to shower you with my Love as
your Father. You will understand one day, that today's court decision
is a temporary one, I am longing for the day when we can be together
as much as the Lord will allow. You are 7 mos, 2 wks old and
You should not have to suffer through life for mistakes that others
have made. Just know, My Dear Son, that my love will pour over
you where ever you are.
Until I am able to gather my thoughts
and write more .. I love you with all of my Heart.

we had was very special and I know that we will get to know more about
each other as time rolls on. You are my special little man, my
